Trying to understand when to give a user Send As vs Send on Behalf when it comes to another user’s mailbox, and if there is any other action needed beyond delegating that right. For example:
- I give a Bob the right to ‘Send As’ Tom.
- I give Jill the right to ‘Send on Behalf’ of Tom
- I give Chris both ‘Send As’ and ‘Send on Behalf’ for Tom’s mailbox.
Regarding from Microsoft document :
Note
Important: You can configure Send as or Send on behalf for a given user, but not both. If you configure both, it will default to Send as.
