Note
Any Microsoft Office programs which you need to use should be installed before MathType. Installation requires Office programs to be closed in particular Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Download Mathtype
1. Visit this link then download MathType setup file https://store.wiris.com/en/products/mathtype/download/windows.
Install MathType
2. Open downloaded file to install MathType 7 in Windows 10, 11.
3. Accept the license terms and conditions before install MathType 7.
4. Click OK to start install MathType 7.
5. This is first time you install MathType, so that folder does not exist. Let's click to create the folder and continue.
6. The installation was successful, click to finish.
7. Open Microsoft Word application, you would get this security warning, let’s click on the link
8. In this page, select Advanced Options.
9. Select Trust all documents from this publisher to allow MathType runs macros.
Finally, navigate to MathType tab in the ribbon.
