The latest version of Windows Terminal comes with a lot of new features. My favorite feature is center on launch. It will open the Terminal window at the center of the screen every time a new session opens.
One of the issues with Windows Terminal is the annoying sound that gets triggered when you hit a text or navigation boundary using the tab, backspace, or arrow keys. Apparently, that sound is a bell, and it is left on by default. To disable it, you can follow the short steps outline below.
When you open Windows Terminal, it typically opens in a single tab window, similar to the traditional Command Prompt window. However, Windows Terminal is highly customizable. You can choose to launch the terminal as maximized, full screen, default (in a window), focus mode, or maximized focus mode.

The terminal always opens somewhere on the top-left side of the screen, but if you find yourself always moving it to the center of the screen, you can change the Settings.json file to avoid the extra step every time you open the console.
